Sadly, the final meeting of Cross Plains Chapter No. 455 was held April 1, 1996. The members consolodated with Brownwood Chapter No. 116.
According to the minutes of meetings, only one School of Instruction was held in Cross Plains. It was held March 4, 1943 when Kate Powell was Worthy Matron.
In 1993, Sandra Carey served as Deputy Grand Matron. She was the only Cross Plains member to so serve.
