Samuel Neal Strahan
(1852-1931)

Bro. Samuel Neal Strahan, Master of Cross Plains Lodge No. 627 in 1907, was born to Dr. James Alexander Strahan and Caroline J. (Harris) Strahan on March 5, 1852.  Dr. James Alexander Strahan was a member of the Johnson Station Lodge, present day Arlington, Texas, before his death in 1880.  Dr. James Alexander Strahan had grown up in Meriwether County, Georgia where his father Neal Strahan was also a Mason.

Brother S. N. Strahan died October 15, 1931 and is buried in Baggett, Texas as is his wife Elizabeth.
